——————✨ ????? ?? ???? ???? ↓ ✨——————

You’re listening to ??? ???????’ ??? podcast where we talk all things leadership, communication and, learning how to balance multiple passions as a millennial professional.

I’m your host, Dr. Charity C. Campbell affectionately known as Dr. C and I can’t wait to dig into today’s topic!

? ??? ɪɴsɪᴅᴇʀ’s ɢᴜɪᴅᴇ ?? ?????????? ????? ??? ?

Back by popular demand (according to my YouTube stats), we are pleased have my business partner, research colleague and dear friend back in the lab with us this week!

Dr. Frank O. Larbi, ladies and gents!

Today, Dr. Larbi and I are discussing some things that no one tells you about after you complete a terminal degree.

In 2018, Dr. Isaiah Hankel wrote an article quoting statistics from the National Science Foundation.

80% of life science PhDs end up unemployed or in low-paying postdoc training positions.

60% of ALL PhDs end up unemployed or in low-paying postdoc positions.

Usually this happens after a PhD defends his or her thesis.

Most phds do nothing.

The only way is to take matters into your own hands.

Meet Our Guest

Dr. Larbi is a full-time associate researcher in International and Comparative Education at South China Normal University in Guangzhou, China, and an adjunct lecturer at the Guangdong Polytechnic Normal University. He obtained his doctor of philosophy degree (PhD) in International and Comparative Education (Educational Leadership and Policy) from Beijing Normal University in Beijing, China.

His research interests are in the scope of internationalization of higher education, and education for sustainable development. Dr. Larbi has published several research articles in the sphere of education in social science citation index (SSCI) journals, primarily focusing on higher education.

Dr. Larbi is the founder of LOFRIC Institute (wwww.lofric.net) and a public speaker.
