Tap into Your Resurrection Power

place of the resurrection of jesus christ in jerusalem Israel

Happy Resurrection Sunday!

So today, all across the world, we are celebrating the resurrection of Christ, who died on the cross for all sins.

It was an enormously selfless act. For someone to die for people who weren’t even born yet, still haven’t been born yet – to die for the sins of people who were yet trying to kill him, and stop his purpose? #Selfless.

There would be no resurrection without his death.

And I want to talk to someone today who is sitting in some dead situations, dead dreams, dead visions, dead opportunities, and you are afraid that they’ll never come alive again.

But let me encourage you, because the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead also lives within us. And I’m not just telling you this to get you all excited and not have anything to back it up. Romans 8:11 reads, “the Spirit of God, that raised Jesus from the dead also lives in us.” It lives in us.

I dare you, I challenge you, as joint-heirs with Jesus and as children of the Most High God, to resurrect everything that is dead in your life that is supposed to live and thrive.

I challenge you to not allow fear to kill your dreams any further. To not allow comparison to kill your drive – your energy – any further. Stop allowing comparison to kill what you have to contribute to the world.

You’re comparing yourself and what you have to contribute to what others have are already contributing.

And let me tell you, there is only one you and so you are the one who has to bring what you have to contribute to the table. We need to see what you have.

We need to see your goals and your dreams resurrected.

We need to see your relationships and your marriage resurrected.

We need to see your job opportunities and positions resurrected.

We need to see your finances resurrected.

We need to see your businesses resurrected.

The way that you show Christ is through what is resurrected in your life. There are going to be so many things that come in life that will try to bury you – will try to kill your goals, your dreams – maybe even try to kill you.

These things will try to kill your morale, kill your energy, kill your positivity.

But every single time it seems like something is dead, I challenge you to tap into your resurrection power. Romans 8:11 tells you that you have it!

So if you feel powerless today, read Romans 8:11 and be strengthened and encouraged that you, too, have resurrection power.

Happy Resurrection Sunday!

As we celebrate Jesus today, I want you to also remember that you have something to look forward to.

And you have something to celebrate as well.

The resurrection of your dreams, the resurrection of your future, the resurrection of your destiny.

God bless you!
